A community baseball club fielding Junior and Senior teams from the Hawkesbury region.
Founded in the mid-1980s, Hawkesbury District Baseball Club was built from the ground up by passionate local families. In the early days, dedicated members hired grounds directly from Hawkesbury City Council, personally constructing the backnets and diamond infrastructure to give local kids a place to play. By the early 1990s, our junior programs were thriving.
That same spirit carries the club today. Volunteers, families and local businesses working together to keep baseball alive in the Hawkesbury.
Hawkesbury Baseball Club, known as the Hawks, is a community club catering for players of all ages across the Hawkesbury region. We field teams across both Junior and Senior grades, and welcome new players, families and volunteers to get involved.
Our Juniors compete in the Hills Baseball Association competition, while our Seniors play in the Sydney Metro Baseball League. Both programs share the same home ground, the same colours, and the same club spirit.
The club runs on the efforts of volunteer committee members, coaches, managers and families. If you'd like to get involved on or off the field, we'd love to hear from you.
